Jackie Chan in China EarthQuake City

Kung Fu superstar Jackie Chan arrived in Chengdu, the earthquake-hit capital city of southwestern China's Sichuan Province on Friday . Jackie donated food and drinks to the badly-hit city of Deyang and visited the injured in some of the other worst affected areas like Mianzhu. He is the first celebrity to come to the quake-hit areas.
After offering his condolences to the victims, Jackie Chan sang with local people and encouraged them to band together to overcome the disaster. His message can now even be downloaded to MP3 player for the earthquake victims.

Before coming to Chengdu, Jackie gathered about one hundred pop stars from China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and South Korea to record a song, "The Promise", on Thursday evening to aid in the donating efforts.

Jackie Chan and Hong Kong Emperor Entertainment Group donated 10 million yuan to the quake-stricken Sichuan province on Tuesday.
