Julianna Moore Walks the Red Carpet in Cannes Film Festival

Julianne Moore arrives for the screening of Brazilian director Fernando Meirelles' film entry "Blindness" on the opening night of the 61st Cannes Film Festival May 14, 2008.

Julianna Moore plays a doctor's wife, who, like the film's audience, sees death, cruelty, degradation as well as dignity around her.

The movie had its premiere in the evening, with Dennis Hopper, Eva Longoria Parker and Cate Blanchett among the stars joining cast and jury in front of hundreds of fans.
