In the presence of TVB management and accompanied by actress cum good friend, Ada Choi(蔡少芬), Gigi sadly told the press that she will spend more time with her family and manage her brother's business after quiting. She denied that she will be getting married anytime soon.
Some media believed that Gigi could have been affected by rumours earlier this month, saying that she was a high class social escort in the show business; while some speculated that she has seen a different light after her brother's near death accident last year.
Gigi Lai had joined the entertainment industry since she was 15 years old. Hence, she said she had no regrets in her entertainment career spanning more than 20 years in which she sang, acted in various TV dramas and movies.Related post:
