Song Seung Hun Invites Zhang Yi Mou to Direct Movie "Jewel in the Palace"

Korean heart-throb, Song Seung Hun, was tasked by Korea Studio company to invite China renowned director, Zhang Yi Mou, to film the movie version of "Jewel in the Palace" (大长今aka "Dae Sang Geum") when he flies to Zhang's hometown tomorrow .Korean TV drama "Jewel in the Palace" has drawn raved reviews across the world and Zhang Yi Mou, who also choreographed the Beijing Olympics 2008 open and closing ceremony, is a fan of the drama. But Zhang Yi Mou apparently rejected the first offer by Korea Studio company, who owed the rights to the drama, to direct the movie version.According to reports, Song Seung Hun will be the lead actor in the movie version of "Jewel in the Palace", Korean actresses, Sara, Jang Na Ra, and Chinese international actress, Zhang Yiyi could possibly star in the movie too.
