Hong Kong actress Isabella Leong Bailed Out of EEG by Richard Li

Hong Kong young actress, Isabella Leong Lok Shi, 20, was bailed out of Hong Kong Emperor Entertainment Group (EEG) in an out of court settlement by her rumoured billionaire boyfriend cum internet entepreneur, Richard Li, 42, yesterday. Isabella Leong had claimed that she signed up as a star under EEG when she was only a teenager at 12 years old in 2001.Isabella requested to terminate her contract in March this year. EEG which had groomed her into an upcoming actress and singer all these years, had sued Isabella for breaking her contract. Isabella was reported to have strong financial support from Richard Li, the second son of Hong Kong tycoon, Li Ka Shing, who engaged lawyers to defend her case.Isabella Leong was widely reported to be in a relationship with Richard Li after international star Michelle Yeoh introduced them while both the actresses were filming “The Mummy 3″ in the US last year. In fact, Richard Li also broke up with his socialite girlfriend, Rachel Law, to be with Isabella.

The lawsuit is initially scheduled to start tomorrow but had suprisingly reached an out of court settlement. Senior management, Mani, from EEG said,"Yes, it's an out of court settlement. That's all I can reveal under the agreement. Anyway, Isabella can choose whatever she likes to do from now on."
