Gisele Bundchen , the world’s highest-grossing supermodel, is sexy on the cover of "American Photo" magazine, November/December 2008 issue.
Giselse Bundchen also appears in her plastic sandals brand, Ipanema Sementes 2009 - Seeds Ad Campaign.Gisele and Grendene (the mother company of Ipanema and Melissa) have developed a special project with SOS Mata Atlantica (a program supporting the gallery forest), where each Ipanema sandal sold will help plating 25,500 saplings from 100 different species (15ha of Brazilian Atlantic Forest).

Gisele Bundchen Tops List of Top-Earning Model

Forbes released their annual list of top-earning model where Gisele Bundchen, stayed on top at the No. 1 spot with an estimated $35 million in earnings, more than double the $14 million banked by Heidi Klum, who came in second. The other models rounding out the top five were Kate Moss ($7.5 million), Adriana Lima ($7 million) and surprise addition Doutzen Kroes ($6 million).

Forbes.com said that although Bundchen finished her lucrative Victoria's Secret contract last year, she continues to juggle 20 other modeling jobs.

"The 27-year-old continues to bag new contracts, noticeably with Pantene and a cosmetics giant yet to be named. Her face graces ads for Disney, Nivea, Vogue eyewear and Aquascutum, the U.K.-based luxury line," Forbes.com said.

"Her line of Grendene sandals, Ipanema by Gisele, banks her about $6 million a year. And her romance with New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady keeps her in the tabloids," it added.

WITH that naked photo of Carla Bruni having garnered some of the most impressive auction price, photographer Michel Comte is at it again; his 1999 shot of a bare-breasted and smoking supermodel, Gisele Bundchen will go under the hammer at Christie's next month.The portrait of Gisele Bundchen currently holds a price guide of US$12,000-$16,000. However, a recent portrait (pic below) of her sold for nearly US$200,000 at auction, so there’s no telling how much the artwork will end up going for.

The photographs sale, which will be held at Christie's London on May 15, is another supermodel-centric affair; also up is a black-and-white portrait of Kate Moss, taken by Albert Watson in Marrakech circa 1993.

With over 100 million pairs of shoes sold since the launch of Ipanema in 2001, Gisele has since topped Forbes’ list of top earning supermodels. But it seems that proceeds from the sales of her shoes are donated to the Brazilian Indian tribes.
