Pusan International Film Festival 2008 - Korean Celebrities at Opening Ceremony

The 13th Pusan International Film Festival opened last Thursday on 2 October and will end 10 October. Here are highlights of some Korean celebrities walking the red carpet at the opening ceremony :The two comperes : Jung Jin Yong & Kim Jung EunJang Dong Gun

Park Eun Hye's Wedding Day

Korean actress, Park Eun Hye, 30, married her entrepreneur boyfriend, only known as Mr Kim, 34, yesterday in a wedding ceremony held in Shilla Hotel, Seoul. Park Eun Hye's husband has so far never appeared in the media despite the curiosity surrounding him.

The beautiful bride, wearing a 3 billion won tiara, held a press conference at 9am in the morning but the the media was barred from attending ceremony held from 12 pm onwards. Many of her celebrity friends came to give their blessing ( see her best friend cum celebrity, Rachel Han Chae Young pic below).

Park Eun Hye, apologised to the media for the absent of her husband and said that she did not want to "burden" her husband with all the unwanted media attention like what her brother experienced during his wedding.

She thanked her husband for his understanding and listening hear during the conference. And Park also expressed her wish to have 2 kids, ideally a boy and a girl.

Park Eun Hye continued her filming today before flying to Maldives tomorrow, 29 April, for her 3 days 2 night honeymoon.

Park Eun Hye, the Korean actress who shot to fame in the popular Korean drama "Palce in the Jewel (Da Chang Jin)" as a palace chamber maid turned concubine, is getting married on 27 April to an entrepreneur in Shilla Hotel, Seoul. She had just released her wedding photos through her website.

Park Eun Hye said she had taken about 8 hours to complete her wedding photo shots.

On the wedding day, Park mentioned that she would hold a press meeting in the morning. Thereafter, only friends and relatives are invited to the ceremony and wedding dinner. She and husband will host about 300 guests in Shilla Hotel.
Some reports mentioned that Park Eun Hye had to make seating arrangements for her guests in the wedding dinner, which is not a norm in Korean wedding, due to overwhelming demands by male co-stars to sit with her best friend cum actress, Rachel Han Chae Young (see pic below).
