Korean actress, Song Hye Kyo, revealed in a Japanese talk show that her first love was the most unforgettable,"Even two years after break up, I was still upset when I saw him with another woman". The Japanese media widely suspected that Song Hye Kyo could be talking about fellow actor and ex Li Byung Hun.Asked about the reasons for the break up, Song Hye Kyo said,"For nitty-gritty things or a small lie." Rain, Son Ye Jin & Jeong Ryeo Won in Style Icon Award 2008

"Style Icon Awards 2008" organised by the Korea's Olive livestyle TV was held on the 30th October at Club Answer in Gangnam, Seoul. The award ceremony selected 10 top trend setters in 2008 from cultural, artistic and social spectrum of life .

Rain won the male "ICON of THE YEAR" award. He shared the award with female star Jang Mi Hee.Korean actress, Son Ye Jin, won Style Icon award in the actress category and "Fun fearless female" award. Korean singer, Seo In Young won the style icon award in the singer category. Actress, Jeong Ryeo Won of "Two faces of my girlfriend" fame, won the female fashionable award.Korean pop group, Shinee, who won the NEW ICON award performed for the Style Icon award presentation.

Rain Love Megan Fox But Didn't Fall in Love with Song Hye Kyo

Korean star, Rain Ji-hoon clarified on Korea Wednesday MBC show that he did not fall in love with fellow female celebrities like Song Hye Kyo during filming.Rain said,"We definitely have to "love" each other during the filming process, otherwise the audience will see through the fake emotions. But we have never really been in love together."

He also revealed that he missed a chance to work with "Transformer" and Hollywood star, Megan Fox, as filming of "Transformer 2" coincides with the schedule of "Ninja Assassin" (Rain's first Hollywood movie). Rain has reportedly been very fond of Megan Fox.

Korean international star, Rain Ji-hoon, is featured in the November edition of Korea version of Harper Bazaar.He was also featured in Esquire magazine. Lately, he was not pleased that Korean stars' houses are included as tourist spots. Hence causing traffic jams in the neighbourhood and disturbance to their neighbours. Rain apparently became a 'victim' when his house was included as a hot tourist spot.

Rain Ji-hoon Had Depression!

Korean superstar, Rain, told the Korean media lately that he had depression, and that caused him profound pain. It happened while he was filming his first Hollywood movie "Ninja Assassin" in the US.Rain said,"During that period (in the US), I had severe depression and survived through the thoughts of the support given by my fans." He later also developed fear for heights and space while filming "Ninja Assassin" in the lift for 2 hours.

Korea had lately been marred by a bout of suicidal news by Korean celebrities like Choi Jin Sil. And Rain hoped that by speaking on his depression, it would encourage other celebrities to seek treatment for their mental illness instead of using suicide as only alternative.

Rain had just launched his 5th album "Rainism" on 15 October in Korea after he came back from his Hollywood acting career.

Korean superstar, Rain Ji-hoon's talent agency had released his new album's cover this morning to the press. They also announced that a new show on Korea's channel - MBC, "I, Rain, Dance", will start the whole series of publicity programmes for Rain's new album.The new show, "I, Rain, Dance" will apparently invite about more than 1000 fans on 9 October to MBC to do an unofficial recording. And MBC has also made special allowance for Rain's comeback album by allowing the new show to be telecast continuously for 2 weeks.
Rain's new song "Love Story" from the new album will be officially released on 8 October in all major Korea music website.

PEOPLE Magazine Got Rain's Photo Wrong

US Celebrity magazine, PEOPLE, has got Korean Superstar, Rain's main photo in their brief interview write up all wrong. (See pic below) In the latest issue of the magazine, the picture was in fact of Karl Yune (brother of Rick Yune), another Korean arising star in Hollywood.
Rain, 26, who lately starred as "Taejo" in his first Hollywood movie "Speed Racer", was apparently not given the superstar welcome as he had in Asia.He lately walked the red carpet with Hollywood star, Susan Sarandon when "Speed Racer" premiered on the 26 April, 2008 at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. Media reported that his name was merely announced as Taejo, his movie role. It caused an uproar in his Korean's peers and fans as they felt that the Hollywood media had done him injustice to his superstar status in Asia.
Rain's fans are also rather upset and crying foul over People magazine's blunder. "Is that you Rain?", they protest.

Korean Pop superstar and actor(Taejo) in the Hollywood Movie, "Speed Racer", wrote a message on his blog thanking his fans while he was on a flight to London.

Rain wrote,"Now I’m on the way to London for the premiere of Speed Racer. It’s been long time for me to write a letter and especially I’m writing on the sky; very excited. I’ve read your writings to congratulate the 6th anniversary since my debut. I really appreciate all of you to have supported me all the time and have made today’s me. I will work much harder not to disappoint you. Around the time of Speed Racer’s opening, I might be shooting in Berlin after finishing the premiere.
Please keep on eye on and support Speed Racer. Stay healthy and happy until we meet again."

Korean Superstar Rain is targeting the Japanese growing market as his entertainment agency J. Tune Entertainment is preparing to launch a cellular content service for Japanese fans.On April 28th, a J. Tune representative announced that they have signed a contract with ACCEL Corporation, a Japanese company dealing in wireless services and that they are ready to provide "top quality content that will fulfill the needs of fans in Japan."

"We plan on sharing footage of Rain's performances and his daily life through the content service which can be viewed in Japan anytime, anywhere," a J. Tune representative said. "We hope that Japanese fans will show great interest in this new service."Rain has recently launched his Hollywood career with the premiere of his first Hollywood movie "Speed Racer". He was seen in the above photo with his American co-star Susan Saradon.

Rain makes Hollywood Debut with Film "Speed Racer"

Korean Pop Singer, Rain, makes his Hollywood film debut with the premiere of his new film "Speed Racer" in June.

The film premiere, to be held at the Tokyo Dome on June 25, will invite 35,000 audience members. The film will be screened on the world's largest 37 meter-by-17.5 meter screen. The film's producer, Wachowski brothers, are preparing to submit an application to the Guinness Book of World Records requesting the screen be included in the book's latest edition.

When the premiere of the film "Pearl Harbor" was held at the Tokyo Dome in 2001, 30,000 audience members watched the film on the then-largest movie screen of 35 meters-by-14.5 meters.

"Speed Racer" is the first film to be directed by the celebrated "Matrix" creators in five years. The film is based on a Japanese animated film entitled "Mach Go Go Go." The story revolves around a young car racer who dreams of glory and success. Rain had also agreed to be cast in "Speed Racer 2 & 3".

"Speed Racer" also features g.o.d member Park Jun-hyung. The film will open in theaters in Korea on May 8 and in Japan on July 5.
