Leon Lai & Zhang Zi Yi at Launch of "Forever Enthralled" Music Video

Hong Kong actor cum singer, Leon Lai, and China actress, Zhang Ziyi, were at the launch of the music video for their new movie "Forever Enthralled" on 21 October. The movie is directed by well-known Chinese director, Chen Kaige of "Farewell Concubine" fame.The poster for "Forever Enthralled" was also unveiled on the same day.Leon Lai and Zhang Ziyi both sang the theme song for the movie. This is Zhang Ziyi's first attempt at singing and director, Chen Kaige, had praised her for the excellent singing.

Gaile, Leon Lai's girlfriend or wife, whichever you like to call it, was doing a catwalk for Van Cleef & Arpels' range of wedding gown. And she looked lovely on them.
Was Gaile praying and hoping that she will walked the aisle with Leon Lai in the public one day? Leon Lai & Gaile apparently held a very secretive and private wedding in Maldives earlier this year and are rumoured to holding a wedding dinner in the same island in October.

Gillian Chung's New Movie Pictures

Get the first glance of Gillian Chung in her new movie role as a Chinese Opera's wife in "Mei Lan Fang", directed by renowned Chen Kaige of "Farewell My Concubine" fame.
Twins' singer, Gillian Chung's new movie role is supposed to transform her from the girl-next-door image into a "serious" actress. But the Edison Chen's sex photo scandal broke out, and Gillian Chung became the top victim with her explicit splashed all over the internet. The scandal cost her role in the movie to be drastically reduced to a minor cast.
The movie is expected to premiere by end of the year in Asia. The main casts of "Mei Lan Fang" are Leon Lai and Zhang Ziyi.

Leon Lai and Gaile's Host Maldives Wedding Dinner in October

Leon Lai and Gaile are planning to host their wedding dinner for friends and relatives in October, according to the latest issue of a Hong Kong Magazine .

The wedding dinner is said to be in Maldives, the island where Leon Lai was last reported to wed Gaile . The report claimed that Leon and Gaile were concerned that their wedding news might affect their career and hence had not officially acknowledged it.

Even as reporters asked Gaile yesterday in her BCBG modelling show (see pic above) at Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong, she still refused to confirm earlier wedding reports. When asked if she is married, she smiled widely and replied,"I don't know."

But the media speculated that the rumoured date coincides with Gaile's plan to take leave from end April till November for her Arts Course. And hence expecting the wedding dinner in Maldives to be realised.

Ever since Leon Lai and Gaile were reported married in an exclusive island of Maldives, Leon's fans-particularly the "mommy group", had been addressing her "Mrs Leon Lai". Gaile has since happily accepted it.Leon Lai's mommy fans even supported Gaile in her events, like Gaile's VIP appearance for Hong Kong PRADA event last night (see pic above).

Gaile said last night at PRADA event,"They are very friendly and nice, some even came from far away place to support me." She was apparently pleased that Leon Lai's fans have come to accept her though Gaile knew that not all Leon Lai's fans will like her.

Leon Lai celebrates wedding in Hong Kong

Leon Lai was spotted celebrating his wedding with a bunch of friends in Causeway Bay on 19 March after he was back in Hong Kong last week. Though Leon Lai and his just married wife, Gaile had been keeping tight lips on their wedding held in Maldives on 13 March.
Leon Lai and Gaile had so far replied,'No comment" on their wedding reports.

However, on 19 March, when Leon was seen sending off his friends in a pub at Causeway Bay, he was apparently in a extremely high mood. He partied till 3am in the morning and was blushing red with all the drinking.

Leon Lai and girlfriend of 3 years, Gaile were married last Thursday 13 March in Maldives. And the pictures of the luxurious resort in an exclusive Maldives island, where the wedding took place, are here :

The resort is about 5000 sq.ft and cost about HK$40,000 per night.
Though Leon had so far reportedly only said,"Thank you" to the Hong Kong media, his wife now, Gaile, was less forwarding, and merely reply the media via sms,"....we are taking a vacation....will be back in Taiwan next week for work...".

Leon Lai apparently also bought a HK$6 million house in St.Andrew Place, Hong Kong (see pic above & below) in Oct last year in preparation of their marriage.

Leon Lai is married to Gaile!

Hong Kong star, Leon Lai had acknowledged that he married girlfriend, Gaile of 3 years on last Thursday, 13 March.
Leon Lai had intended originally to keep the wedding a secret by holding it in an exclusive island in Maldives on last Thursday, but the Hong Kong media - The Sun, got news of it yesterday. Apparently, Leon Lai and Gaile had only invited about 10 close friends to attend their wedding in the only resort hotel at the Maldives island.

The couples had held two nights (cost about HK$93,402 per night) of party after their wedding ceremony. Their close friend had leaked that Leon had also proposed to Gaile at Maldives, the couples favourite haunt for holiday.

It was also reported that Leon Lai will be absent this Tue for his new film premiere to spend time with his newly wed wife. He had earlier rushed to finish his publicity for his new film "Jiang Shan Mei Ren" so that he could go on honeymoon after the wedding. The Sun also mentioned that Leon and Gaile might register their marriage when they are back in Hong Kong as the Maldives' marriage certificate is not recognised in Hong Kong.
