Takeshi Kaneshiro was recently paid a hefty 8-figure for his continuation as a cosmetic brand's spokesperson. The advertiser , concerned that Takeshi's long exposure to the spot lights while filming the ads could damage his face skin, paid US$3.5m to insure his whole face.
Takeshi shot the 2008 series cosmetic ads in Tokyo. He was seen with long hair after his latest Japanese film, Sweet Rain: Shinigami no Seido. (see pic below)
In his latest movie, Takeshi Kaneshiro is a god of death takes human form and spends time with people who have a week left to live. He's actually quite charming as a human, and doesn't take any particular joy in the final goal of his work.
